The Clemenspoort is located in the capital of the province of East Flanders (Belgium), Ghent. An inspirational place for redemptorists and the Effata community, where there is room for prayer, meditation and celebrations.
The geometrical building was designed by architectural firm ARCH & TECO. The different materials form a striking contrast. Glass and concrete parts are softened by Platowood Fraké façade cladding. In addition, the wooden parts protrude against the mother-of-pearl façade cladding.
