In the Schoorl Dunes, a Natura 2000 protected area, the 26-year-old Beach pavilion Hargen has been beautifully renewed. For the window frames, the choice fell on durable Platowood Fraké frames. The terrace railing was finished with matching Platowood Fraké cladding.
Owner Olly Oldenburg:
“We were looking for untreated frames, as we wanted to keep maintenance to a minimum. The contractor suggested Platowood Fraké wood for the frames. We really liked how the wood would eventually grey, so we went with it. We’ve received lots of positive feedback. It looks great and we love how it’s greying naturally.”
