Dura Vermeer Inspiration Centre
Utrecht

The Inspiration Centre, designed by MONK architecten, is the new home for Railinfra and the construction and real estate division of Dura Vermeer. The design and development reflect Dura Vermeer’s three ambitions for renewal: sustainability, digitalisation and innovation.

The sustainable wood from Platowood fits these ambitions perfectly.

Robert Temmink, Stramannbouw Geveltechniek, on Platowood:

“Platowood is a wonderful product to work with. The high quality and beautiful appearance of Platowood Fraké led to this final result, of which all partners are proud.”

Interior and exterior

The building was developed with the vision to connect, meet and inspire. This vision is reflected in the architecture, design and interior. Stramannbouw applied Platowood Fraké with craftsmanship, both inside and out.

Not only the staircases and mezzanines were clad, but also the lift shafts in the parking garage and on the roof. In addition, Platowood Fraké was used for cladding kitchens and seating furniture.
