For this renovation, designed by AUK Interiors, Platowood Fraké was deliberately chosen as the connecting material, not only to enhance the outdoor feel, but also to anchor it sustainably. The Platonium 05 profile creates a calm, refined line pattern, while the Natural Coat finish emphasises the warm, natural appearance of the wood and allows it to weather beautifully over time.
The stone slips give the outdoor kitchen a warm, Mediterranean character and form a strong contrast with the platonised wood. The Fraké slats return in the kitchen unit and the rear wall and continue into the wall of the TV cabinet, where subtle storage space has been integrated between the slats. This creates a single, cohesive whole in which aesthetics, functionality and the sustainable qualities of Platowood come together.
This project was completed with a Natural Coat finish.
