Clemenspoort
Ghent, Belgium

In the capital of the province of East Flanders, Ghent, stands Clemenspoort—a place of inspiration for the Redemptorists and the Effata community, offering space for prayer, meditation, and services.

The geometric building was designed by architecture firm ARCH & TECO and is composed of various materials that together form a striking contrast. The extensive use of glass and concrete is softened by Platowood Fraké cladding, while the wooden elements also contrast beautifully with the mother-of-pearl façade cladding.
