Fultonpark
Utrecht

Fultonpark is a sustainable new-build development on Fultonbaan in the Rijnhuizen district of Nieuwegein, comprising 137 energy-efficient rental apartments. The residential buildings surround a green communal courtyard, creating a pleasant living environment where urban living, social interaction and nature come together.

Sustainability was central to the development of Fultonpark. All homes are gas-free and have an A++ energy label. Natural materials were also selected for the architecture. Platowood Fraké gives the façades a warm appearance and creates a beautiful connection with the green courtyard.

The apartments range in size from 37 to 133 square metres and accommodate a variety of households. Each apartment has its own outdoor space and storage room. The complex also features a communal outdoor area and ample parking. The apartments are fitted with a high-quality kitchen and bathroom, with residents offered a range of options.

For Fultonpark, the Platonium 05 profile was selected. This profile adds depth and rhythm to the façade and emphasises the natural character of the Fraké. The wood has no colour finish, allowing its original appearance and distinctive grain to remain visible. Over time, the façade will weather naturally under the influence of sunlight and the elements.

To meet fire safety requirements, the Platowood Fraké was given a fire-retardant treatment with Bio FireProtect by Hestus, our Partner in fire retardancy. The Platowood was supplied by our dealer De Hillegomse.

Fultonpark brings together sustainable housing, fire safety and the natural appearance of wood. The result is an energy-efficient residential environment with a warm façade that complements the project’s green character.
