Updated Platowood colors

Last year, a legislative change was introduced regarding the fire classification requirements for wood. Whereas producers could previously rely on the CWFT table, this is no longer allowed. Thermally modified wood — including platonized wood — must now be independently tested by the manufacturer. Good to know: Platowood Fraké and Spruce naturally comply with Fire Class D.

Platowood colors

To ensure that our finished wood also complies with Fire Class D, we’ve made changes to our range of color finishes. All oil-based finishes have been removed from our assortment and replaced with stain-based alternatives. To clearly mark this transition, we’ve also renamed the finishes.
